The Guild holds workshops on the third Thursday meetings of the month.
The intent of these mini workshops is to teach guild members various needlework techniques.
These are usually taught by experienced Guild members.

EAC Correspondence Courses |
|
The Embroidery Association of Canada has a variety of correspondence courses which are available to SNAG members.
These include both beginner and intermediate levels of instruction in techniques such as hardangar, crewel, metal thread, schwalm, blackwork, Deerfield, pulled thread etc.. These courses are usually done by a group of Guild members.
There are also individual courses for a teachers certificate, colour course etc.
Guild members have access to EAC library resources for research purposes or as another resource source for learning new techniques.
Once a correspondence course is completed, the finished product is sent to an EAC counsellor for individual critiques. |
